We took over the former Brierley Guesthouse in spring 2022 with the aim to provide a high standard of holidays at an affordable price. We treat our guests in a friendly and professional manner with many returning year after year.
With a central location just a literal few seconds from the Esplanade and Weymouth’s famous award winning beach and calm sea (from which we get our name) we’re an ideal location for couples and family holidays. We are within easy access to all amenities, shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Close by we have the Sea life Centre, a bowling green, the picture-perfect harbour, Portland Bill lighthouse and the magical Jurassic coast with its historic towns and picturesque coves.
Calmsea is also the perfect place for cyclists, hikers and walkers. Not only are we located right on the Jurassic Coast, but we have secure storage for all bikes, accessories and hiking equipment along with some basic tools for minor bike repairs and maintenance. We even have a bike repair and shop close by for all your cycling needs.
If you would like to cancel your booking please call us directly to discuss your options. We usually don’t allow refunds less than 30 days before check-in but we are happy to make an exception in extreme cases or unforeseen events.
